Welcome to The Ann Watson’s Trust website.
Established in the East Riding of Yorkshire, the Trust is now 300 years old making it one of the older charities in the United Kingdom and to this day it continues to fulfil the charitable objectives of its founder Mrs Ann Watson. The Trust maintains a Grade II listed building in Sutton village, Hull to provide accommodation in self-contained flats for eleven elderly ladies who are members of the Church of England with priority being given to the widows or unmarried daughters of Church of England clergymen and to make grants for the advancement of education of young people under 25 years in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
